Lower School
Curriculum
Beaches Chapel School provides a curriculum that is shaped by Christian truth. Students are nurtured, supported, and encouraged to see their unique strengths and talents as opportunities to serve God. Molding a growth mindset through perseverance and a positive attitude is the best way to start the journey. From there, specific study skills are more easily grasped while mastering critical foundational strategies. This enables students to broaden perspectives and build the capacity for knowledge. Children can then learn to celebrate their own, and one another’s, gifts and differences as unique creations of God. Together, all of this instills a love of learning — for a lifetime.
STARS Program
The STARS Program provides, on campus, extracurricular activities for students on campus that are convenient and affordable in a Christian atmosphere. We believe that every student can shine! We offer fall and spring semesters with seasonal sports such as basketball and cheerleading.
Students can participate in:
Cooking Ballet/Jazz
Art Hip Hop
Running Golf
Social
The Lower School students have the opportunity to participate in many social functions throughout the school year. We have our annual Fall Festival, Donuts with Dads and Muffins with Moms just to name a few! The elementary school girls are treated like the princesses they are at the Father-Daughter Dance, there's the 5th grade Sock Hop Dance and all the students get a chance to showcase their gifts at the Spring Musical. We also have a yearly 5K Run with the Lions for our school and community. Every class goes on at least 2 field trips a year including our 4th Grade trip to Tallahassee.
Service Projects
As part of our mission, Beaches Chapel School realizes that, in honoring God, we are also called to love and serve others.
Students are offered many opportunities throughout the year to engage in service. These opportunities include partnering with local non-profit organizations to meet the needs of our community, as well as service clubs both on- and off-campus. Our desire is to help develop the hearts of students as servant-leaders.
