Curriculum

Beaches Chapel School provides a curriculum that is shaped by Christian truth. We maintain the highest academic standards and rigor for our students. Students are nurtured, supported and encouraged to see their unique strengths and talents as opportunities to serve God and have a lasting effect on the world.
Students have the opportunity to excel in Art, Library, Technology, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish each week as a part of their learning experience. Technology is incorporated into the classroom with exposure to iPads, laptops, ELMOs, SMART boards, and SMART Tables. These opportunities provide our lower school students with a solid foundation in all learning areas.
Throughout the year, students will participate in field trip experiences that enhance classroom learning. Students learn about our great state while traveling to Tallahassee to tour the state capital and government offices. Florida history comes to life when students visit places like St. Augustine and Ft. Clinch. Students enjoy live performances at local theatres and sports arenas. All field trip experiences are educational and fun.
STARS Program
The STARS Program provides, on campus, extracurricular activities for students on campus that are convenient and affordable in a Christian atmosphere. We believe that every student can shine! We offer fall and spring semesters with seasonal sports such as basketball and cheerleading.
Students can participate in:
Cooking Ballet/Jazz
Art Hip Hop
Running Golf
Social
The Lower School students have the opportunity to participate in many social functions throughout the school year. We have our annual Fall Festival, Donuts with Dads and Muffins with Moms just to name a few! The elementary school girls are treated like the princesses they are at the Father-Daughter Dance, there's the 5th grade Sock Hop Dance and all the students get a chance to showcase their gifts at the Spring Musical. We also have a yearly 5K Run with the Lions for our school and community. Every class goes on at least 2 field trips a year including our 4th Grade trip to Tallahassee.
Service Projects
We want our students at Beaches Chapel School to learn the importance of caring for others before themselves. We encourage them to think of ways to help those in our community and then act on those ideas. As students are developing spiritually and forming their Christian character, we want them to engage through community projects and other service opportunities. Students take local police and fire stations baskets on the anniversary of 9/11 each year to honor them and thank them for their service. Students gather canned goods and donate Thanksgiving baskets for those in need. In the winter, students create Christmas bags for children in Haiti. Lower school children also support the upper school spring mission trip by making cards and small gifts for the children of Costa Rica.
